About this artwork
In this work, I used pastels, fineliners, shellac ink, and chalk to create a mysterious atmosphere that oscillates between figuration and abstraction. The ghosts and lights symbolize the invisible beings we sometimes conjure ourselves. I wanted to capture the sense of tension and uncertainty that simultaneously has an alluring effect—it brings a vibrant, mystical energy to any space.
