About this artwork
This oil painting was created in my garden in August and captures the mood of late summer. Almost ripe apples await their harvest. Potted, bright red fuchsias contrast with pale pink anemones. The brilliant yellow of the mullein contrasts with the delicate violet tones of the autumn crocuses on either side of the garden path.
