About this artwork
At the end of March, I stretched my watercolor paper and set up my workspace right in front of the window. Between brief rain showers, I captured the vibrant blue blossoms of the glory-of-the-snow with the pond, painting them from the open window. Trees and branches are reflected in the water, while a pale purple crocus blooms amidst the greenery. I used 300 g/m² Saunders Waterford laid paper as my support.
