This painting was created from a dream. I chose delicate gray-blue and green tones with minimal contrast to create an unreal, mystical atmosphere. The she-wolf's gaze is powerful, gentle, and present.

Ute Meyer is a German artist whose work has been recognized nationally and internationally, including in Denmark and the USA. She prefers to work outdoors and uses classic techniques of oil and watercolor painting. Her creative process is strongly influenced by changing weather conditions and lighting, which can either speed up or slow down her painting flow. She captures the special mood of the day in her pictures.
