About this artwork
The painter was born at the coast in the north of Germany. She is influenced by everything she met there at the North Sea and she enjoys the rhythm of ebb and flow. This is a symbol of timeless and eternal and conveys calm and movement. She grew up directly behind the dike and this painting shows her typically view, when she entered the top of the dike.
