About this artwork
Re-enchanting the world - in its own way virtually and with humor - through its mischievous and unusual birds, such was its line of conduct. These kinds of colorful haikus were made on fiberglass paper laminated on matte black paper. They are presented in a glazed box-frame, so his "birdies" give the impression of floating in their cases. The last two photos present the framed work (note that these visuals are not necessarily specific to the work…
but an example view). The "birdies" collection can with its 18 pieces constitute a multiple work (see visual)

Véronique Egloff is a French, self-taught painter. Her incredibly detailed paintings, made with both acrylic and sometimes ink, range from abstract expressionism to lyrical abstraction in style. Her subjects are many, including flora, architecture, animals, and our relationship to the environment. Her paintings are as technically impressive as they are visually stunning.
She has also interested national museums who wished to associate her work with their collections such as the National Museum of the Resistance and the François Pétrarque Museum (Vaucluse).
