About this artwork
Women are traditionally connected to nature. Maybe, but no more than the second part of humanity. What is different is that she has a more acute awareness of continuity ... A woman by nature will tend to act according to present interests modeled on our future interests. It is in this that it is linked to nature. This instinctive and global intelligence generates energies that are particularly creative and beneficial for the environment. However,… this disposition is not purely feminine, men are also gifted with it ... perhaps in greater number in the new generations!
A woman is profiled in perfect extension of a landscape, it is the way that the artist chose to describe it.
Véronique Egloff is a French, self-taught painter. Her incredibly detailed paintings, made with both acrylic and sometimes ink, range from abstract expressionism to lyrical abstraction in style. Her subjects are many, including flora, architecture, animals, and our relationship to the environment. Her paintings are as technically impressive as they are visually stunning. She has also interested national museums who wished to associate her work with their collections such as the National Museum of the Resistance and the François Pétrarque Museum (Vaucluse).
