« INVISIBLE LIGHT PROCESS: Encoded paintings on metal plates, WHEN ART BECOMES A BRIDGE TO THE INVISIBLE »
For Véronique Massie, creating is an unconscious process, a living energy that takes shape through her hands and her entire body. Metal plates serve as the support for her creations, which are first inscribed with symbols, then covered with successive layers of acrylic paint. The process culminates in the writing of an inspired text, the final tangible trace revealing the soul of the work. Her works are not limited to a two-dimensional image. They carry within them a multiplicity of interpretations. The specific pigments that compose them reveal the work under three distinct perceptions depending on the light that passes through them. This plurality acts like successive layers, inviting the viewer to gradually enter the work.
Each creation then becomes a bridge between the VISIBLE and the INVISIBLE. Her art embodies that part of her that has always been connected to the stars, to mystery, and to the unseen. By making it tangible, she allows it to exist and to reveal itself.
