About this artwork
The fish symbolize the flow of life and emotions, while the bubbles represent the private worlds that each being inhabits.
Through ephemeral and delicate compositions, I explore the connection between movement and stillness, between the individual and the universal. In this aquatic contemplation, life is revealed as a constant flow in and… out of our own bubbles.
Painted in oil and acrylic on raw linen, signed at the backside. Easy to hang.

« My way of painting is instinctive and intuitive, the painting chose me and not vice versa »
Valeria Pesce was born in Sardinia, Italy in 1963 and has lived in Barcelona, Spain since 1991. His paintings are characterized by water, red fish and Japanese koi. For her, they represent the flow of life, just like a color point, as short as thought and life itself.
