About this artwork
In painting this lagoon scene, I wanted to convey the serenity and vastness that often accompany places where land and water meet. Using oil and chalk, I tried to capture the rough texture of the piers and the fluidity of the water, creating a contrast that invites reflection. This work expresses an invitation to silence and contemplation, elements that harmonize any domestic environment with a touch of peace and meditation.
