Monstera Deliciosa Plant
I am constantly amazed by nature’s ability to be a source of beauty and grace in its simplicity, and by how each plant of the same species can be so different, even though they may look the same as a group.
When I draw them, I love the lines that rise, fall, and turn. All those differences appear when I draw or paint them because I observe them… and interpret them.
That’s where the question came from: How many different… ways can I show or express essentially the same thing?
And with it, the idea of representing in different ways what at first glance looked the same.
That’s how the Folium series was born.
