About this artwork
The diptych constructs space through a line that moves from one canvas to the other, marking a moment of tension and a shift in direction. The composition is built on the relationship between two states: a restrained field and a sharp fracture. The line becomes a point of transition where the structure reaches its limit and reorganizes while maintaining its integrity.
The color palette reinforces this logic: muted olive and light tones create a calm,… controlled space within which tension emerges. The work is perceived as a unified system, where each part is necessary to sustain the balance between stability and displacement.
The painting is made with acrylic on canvas. This diptych consists of two individual paintings, each measuring 38 × 46 cm, depth 2 cm. The edges are painted to match the front surface. Each piece is protected with a satin varnish. Two artworks will be shipped together in one sturdy cardboard box.
