About this artwork
With soft brushstrokes, I captured the power and sensuality of the tulip. The intense red tones reflect joie de vivre, while the flowing forms bring energy and movement into the image. This work invites you to feel the vitality in every moment and radiates warmth and inspiration. It speaks of inner strength radiating from within the blossom.
Veronika Seebass studied fine arts, art education, and art therapy under Prof. Westendorp in Ottersberg near Bremen from 1988 to 1992. Raised in Ecuador and near Munich, she lived and worked in Berlin from 1992 to 2000. Since 2000, Veronika Seebass has returned to Bavaria and is active as an artist, painting and drawing lecturer, and art therapist. Veronika Seebass uses painting, drawing, and collage in her artistic work. A variety of techniques is her trademark. She is adept at oil, acrylic, watercolor, and ink, and enjoys combining many painting techniques. Her paintings are painted both in the style of the Old Masters and with abstract, gestural brushstrokes. The motifs are often ephemeral flowers, clouds, or female bodies, always inspired by the changing face of nature. Her works radiate beauty, sensuality, and a deep emotional connection, making the invisible tangible with artistic subtlety and vibrancy.
