About this artwork
“The Return II is a work created as a print of my original piece made with soft pastels. Here, the composition comes alive in a new color interpretation – deep blue, black, and golden accents. I added hand-painted acrylic strokes to bring a sense of movement and depth, as well as to create a link between the initial idea and its new embodiment. For me, this is a return in a different light – the same energy, yet expressed in another color universe.”

My name is Vesela Hadzhiyska and I am a visual artist from Bulgaria.
In my practice I connect abstraction, surrealism, and symbolism through acrylics, pastels, ink, photography, and mixed media. I hold a Master’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations, which helps me build a strong visual language and conceptual depth. I am the recipient of more than 30 international photography awards and have participated in group exhibitions in London. I am inspired by the dialogue between photography, painting, and design – each discipline enriching the other and opening new forms of expression. My vision is to create art that embodies beauty and harmony, carrying deep meaning and emotion, so that every viewer can discover their own feeling and answer within it.
