About this artwork
The work "Forgotten Morning Coffee" is like an echo of last morning, when someone hurriedly put the coffee pot on the table, leaving it to cool along with the fruits waiting in turn. The colour palette is designed in cold, muted tones, creating a feeling of silence and stopping time. The lines barely outline the objects, like memories losing their clarity. The yellowish fruits in the foreground seem to have withered, their surface is covered with… the first traces of time, and light sketches on the background give the scene the effect of incompleteness, as if life continues its course beyond this moment. The painting conveys a feeling of emptiness, but it also has quiet poetry — a reminder of time, which is always moving forward, leaving behind only light outlines of the past.
Vita Daneva, an artist from Moldova, works diversely across painting, textiles, digital, and conceptual visual arts. She creates art using form, colours, and unexpected materials, transforming fragments of impressions into harmonized realities. Her intimate works echo her deep philosophical observations, perfused with messages about time, ecology, and human interconnectedness.
