About this artwork
This work, "Lonely Breath," from the series “Silent Landscapes” conveys a sense of solitude and peaceful contemplation of nature. The figure of a tree, thin and slightly crumbling in the air, seems to hover between reality and memory. The rough, textured technique emphasises the fragility and fragility of the moment: the tree is not static, it lives, moves, and breathes with the wind.
The colour palette is based on warm, earthy shades — the ochre… background smoothly flows into muted golden and brown tones, creating the effect of sunlight scattered through the veil of time. Light, chaotic strokes make the crown of the tree almost transparent, as if it melts into the air, becoming part of the endless expanse.
This work invites the viewer into a state of silence and thoughtfulness, reminding us of the continuous flow of time and the beauty of moments that we may not notice, but always feel inside.
