About this artwork
"Trace of Light" is an abstract painting from the "Memory of Spaces" series, in which the artist explores the emotional silence of empty interiors. This painting is like a frozen echo of a sunbeam passing through an abandoned space.
Layers of ochre, sand, and dusty blue tones overlap like memories with no clear boundaries. The textured surface resembles old plaster or a worn wall on which time has left its marks. There are hints of architecture… in the abstract brushstrokes, perhaps a window, a corner, the shadow of a door, but everything remains intentionally untold.
The work is filled with a sense of absence and presence at the same time, as if the viewer finds himself in a room that still remembers the breath of his past, but no longer belongs to anyone.
It's not just an image, it's an experience of space dissolved in time.
