About this artwork
I was driven by the interplay of darkness and light, using acrylics to explore the theme of liberation and emergence. The stark contrast between the bold white strokes and the deep black backdrop captures a burst of energy and a leap into the unknown. This artwork encourages viewers to embrace moments of bold, transformative change, invigorating any space with its dynamic presence and thought-provoking simplicity.
Vita Mirzac is a multidisciplinary artist born in Moldova. Her path in visual expression has developed through academic training, independent exploration, and creative experience across painting, design, and production.
Since the age of eighteen, she has lived in movement — across cities, environments, and states of mind — observing how shifts in context shape perception. For her, travel is a way of expanding visual language and deepening emotional sensitivity.
Her work emerges from this fluid mode of being — intuitive, layered, and attuned to the invisible tensions of the everyday. Art, to her, is a form of attention — a way of thinking, feeling, and engaging with what surrounds us.
She currently lives and works in Barcelona.
" I’m drawn to what isn’t immediate. To what takes time. My practice is a way of recording internal movement — intuitive, attentive, and charged. In every piece, I seek not only to feel, but to articulate — to let form speak with clarity. "
