About this artwork
This piece was created soon after the Hurricane Sandy finished. It was the deadliest, most destructive, and the strongest hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season. It killed 233 people across eight countries and destroyed a lot of properties and infrastructure from the Caribbean to Canada.

Vladimir Kolosov is an artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Russia and Italy.
