In this VISBCOR artwork, I combined deep, smoky tones with vibrant pigmented accents to create an abstract representation of inner and outer contrasts. This VISBCOR artwork is from the series AN EMPTY TABLE WANTS TO BE SET. In this series, I draw the shapes of plates, serving platters, casserole dishes, etc. and use these as the basis for VISBCOR artworks. I then cut these designs into Plexiglas panels with chainsaws. I then work on these panels with acrylic paints, which sometimes change the color extremely depending on the light and perspective.
