Sculptures from the series “City Bodies & Body Cities” (catalog) were created from approximately 2000 to 2016.
The urban landscape is characterized by a pronounced architectural urbanity.
In the Body Cities project, the corporeal, sometimes even the human, is emphasized.
Ultimately, every urban space is a horizontal cross-section through an imagined, conceptual building. Here… too, architecture is of paramount importance!

The wood’s surface is marked by distinct carving marks, creating a vibrant texture and highlighting the craftsmanship.
