About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the tension between past and present, between rigor and freedom. Through collage and the bold strokes of oil pastel, I created a movement that defies convention, as if the figures were breaking the chains of time itself. This energy will bring a sense of vitality and boldness wherever it is displayed.

Walter Gualtiero Passarella is a multidisciplinary artist based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, Austria, and Hungary. One of his main themes is the portrayal of humanity in all of its infinite facets. Passarella creates using mixed media, often including photographs that he elaborates upon digitally. He paints using acrylics and oil pastels on canvas.
