About this artwork

This textured painting was inspired by the idea of escaping for a few minutes from the daily hectic routine, busy, being on our phone, computer, social media constantly. Looking at this abstract work with all the different colours of blue, teal and green resembles an abstract image of our ocean, islands and beautiful places. you can pick a spot and daydream of a zen place to relax and reload.
The painting is made with multiple techniques and layers.… The textured parts are built up to create a 3 d effect and extra depth . The sides are part of the painting therefore a frame is not necessary but if desired it could be placed.
