About this artwork
In this artwork I combine acrylic paints, oil pastels and ink to create a lively interplay of shapes and colors. In the series "Thinking in Squares", to which this painting belongs, I am interested in how our thinking runs in paths, but always creates new shapes. The dark, intertwined shapes against the powerful, high-contrast background challenge viewers to look deeper and discover an inner order and meaning.
