In mijn werk heb ik me gestort op de verfijning van vormen en kleuren, waarbij ik acryl in dunne transparante lagen gebruik om een diep abstract beeld te creëren. Elke penseelstreek is doordrenkt met emotie, en de levendige kleuren dansen op het doek om een gevoel van verwondering op te wekken. Dit schilderij is een reflectie van passie en introspectie, en het zal een unieke energie in elk huis brengen, waarbij het gesprekken en contemplatie uitlokt.…

Style of her Artworks Wilhelmina Lof’s emphasizes on decorative, abstract-styled paintings with dynamic, powerful colours, realized in mixed techniques. The result is a dynamic painting of which the colour balance changes under the available light, warm in the morning light; bright under full sun shine, warm and tender at sunset. Artificial light of variable strength can be used for highlighting.
The 'colour coded' compositions of my works carry the spectator away into speculative or interpretative imaginations of the painting. Many observers characterize her paintings as being esoteric, anthroposophical or even ‘elysian’. Apart from her series of pure abstract and figurative paintings, emphasis is now in combining both styles into mysterious scenes.
