Under the title Shea, Wil Lof introduced a new groundbreaking series of paintings.
The mystical paintings in the Shea emphatically contain style elements from abstract work and are characterized by a 'mountain crystal'-like kaleidoscopic color palette which almost unnoticed.
But unlike other paintings with more figures at their feet, a painting from the Shea series shows only one, which is limited to the silhouette of her upper body.
In this expressive… acrylic piece, I captured raw emotion through bold strokes and vibrant contrasts. The figure, enveloped in a dance of color and light, exudes introspection. Every brushstroke is a testament to the inner turmoil and grace of human existence. It will breathe passion and depth into any space, inviting viewers to reflect on the intricate layers of their own emotions.

Style of her Artworks Wilhelmina Lof’s emphasizes on decorative, abstract-styled paintings with dynamic, powerful colours, realized in mixed techniques. The result is a dynamic painting of which the colour balance changes under the available light, warm in the morning light; bright under full sun shine, warm and tender at sunset. Artificial light of variable strength can be used for highlighting.
The 'colour coded' compositions of my works carry the spectator away into speculative or interpretative imaginations of the painting. Many observers characterize her paintings as being esoteric, anthroposophical or even ‘elysian’. Apart from her series of pure abstract and figurative paintings, emphasis is now in combining both styles into mysterious scenes.
