About this artwork
A december snowy winterlandscape in Yorkshire.
Yorkshire is a huge county and is full of great locations for the plein air painter. It has 300 feet of coastal cliffs and steep limestone edges inland, long stone walls and rippling waterfalls. In the summer the beautiful green grass landscapes and in the winter, when it has snowed, the landscape is a fairy tale. The white sloping slopes then contrast with the gray skies and the black bushes.
Oil and… oil pastels on MDF-panel 53 x33 cm. Unframed. Ready to hang.
