About this artwork
Symbolic of U.S. National News Media (cable-network). Modern news media is a battle between Liberal and Conservative news, where the general public are the victims, especially between 2015 and 2022.
The national news media now has the power once only practiced by governments. The news media's influence seems to determine who is friend or foe, hero or villain, ally or enemy, guilty or innocent.
"Polarized Media doesn't emphasize commonalities, it… weaponizes differences: it doesn't focus on the best of the other side, it threatens you with the worst."-- Ezra Kline, American Journalist
“…what media figures do when they go beyond criticism of their fellow citizens and openly revile them.” — Sebastian Junger: Tribe.
One of a kind--original.
