About this artwork
This striking collage art piece is a visual homage to Red Hot Chili Peppers, one of the most influential bands in alternative rock. The work fuses iconic images of the band members in action during their presentation of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, overlaying portraits of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and John Frusciante with a vibrant color palette that conveys the raw energy of their live performances.
In the center, the initials “RHCP”… stand out in a graffiti style, serving as a window into the background composition. The use of warm tones and electric contrasts reinforces the emotional intensity and unbridled spirit of the band. Between the layers, references to their albums, psychedelic posters and visual elements that evoke the California aesthetic and funk-rock that defines their sound appear.
The mixed technique, with manual strokes and superimposed textures, provides a sense of movement and depth.
