About this artwork
Here, I imagined the universe as the dome-shaped sky above these cathedral-like rock formations.
The light and colours reflecting from it create our beautiful planet.
Inspired by the ancient Bluffs of Toronto which stretches 15 km along the shores of Lake Ontario.
The Islamic motives of dome decorations also were in my mind while forming this skydome.
Using harmonious colours, I have created a painting in the style of Tonalism on this canvas.

I've distilled my awe for the cosmos into a dance of colours and forms. Using acrylics, I've conjured a landscape where reality blurs with the mystical. My brushstrokes carry the essence of impressionism into a realm where the lines of the hills blend with the fluidity of emotions, and the semi-abstract approach leaves room for the viewer's imagination. The artwork radiates a tranquil yet profound energy that is sure to add a contemplative and inspiring vibe to any space.
