There is a small bay, in Sicily, in Milazzo, called by fishermen "a'ngonia" because the rocks almost form an angle before the promontory begins. In summer the water of the sea is always warm and the color is turquoise. But when the west wind swells the waves, then the storm is a spectacle in no way different from that of the oceans against the cliffs. This is where I was born. Original abstract artwork on fine art watercolor paper Arches 300 gr/mq,… fine grain, cold pressed, 26x36 cm format. Extra fine Watercolors Schmincke Horadam and Daniel Smith. Ink Dr.Ph. Martin's. Signed by the author on the front and one the back and with certificate of authenticity.
I was born in Sicily. The south and the Mediterranean are the roots of my soul and my feelings. I come from classical studies. I could have been a doctor if I had not met the Theater. And in the theater my infinite journey into Art begins. I am an actor and a director, a playwright and a writer. And I love using the verb to be, because I have never done in my life what I am not. I love playing with lights, a game that I have fed by landing on photography until being an honorable mention at the IPA in Los Angeles in 2017. And in the game of lights, I found painting, a language that allows me countless escapes, each of which brings me back to myself. I exhibit in Italy and abroad, including Monte Carlo, Luxembourg, Berlin, Miami.
