Yamil works mainly with the theme of landscape, especially those where the mountains shine, where the sunlight reveals the magic. Yamil's art is made up of many facets. The faces and characters of their land are the protagonists. Even in Picco's "modern classic" there are incomplete features, desired by the artist, typical of the contemporary. His creations are not simple landscapes or portraits, but they hide… that Eden, that self that wants to appear to the viewer. Philosophers, who reflect on life, on joys and sorrows, but always looking forward in the continuous search for beauty, looking towards a world full of joy and hope. Yamil's painting has enormous meaning, made of light and ethereal beauty.

Yamil Picco is an Argentinian visual artist born in Villa de las Rosas, Córdoba. His work explores realistic and impressionistic landscapes, the human figure, and surrealism, always with a strong focus on light, contrasts, and emotional narrative. Inspired by the diversity of Argentinian landscapes and the people who inhabit them, he paints mountains, rivers, and scenes that combine detail and spontaneity. His works have been exhibited in various parts of the world. He primarily works with oil on canvas, creating images that invite the viewer to connect with the essence and story behind each piece.
