About this artwork
This picture is called "Sunflower". Sunflowers are my favorite flowers, they are associated with Monaco. There are stories in my life that seem almost unbelievable... While visiting a friend in Monaco, we went to dinner at the Casino Café de Paris. By chance, I saw a man who organizes fashion shows throughout Europe. He radiated a bright, warm, almost solar energy, like a sunflower.
This image reflects my feelings toward another person, but the… true interpretation of beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What I find beautiful is this ability to choose kindness and positivity, even in the face of difficulties. When you meet a genuinely kind person, it’s like dark lines on a canvas: they reveal moments of pain or doubt, but they don’t dull the light that continues to shine.
