About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the joyful absurdity that blends the surreal with pop culture. Using vibrant oil paints, I celebrate metaphysical humor that defies convention. It brings a playful energy, an invitation to see beyond the visible and embrace the festive strangeness that can illuminate your home with an unexpected brilliance.
Born in Arbaa on 02/07/1991, Younes SARI is a multidisciplinary artist who likes to stand out from the beaten track. He began studying exact sciences in 2008 but ended up leaving the university benches to realize his dream - to join the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Algiers where he obtained his diploma in "Painting". After having rubbed shoulders with the arts community, he was dissatisfied with the options available to him both creatively and professionally and opted for nonconformism. This is how the works he produced as part of his training became increasingly independent of any evaluation framework. Younes SARI preferred to devote his time to enriching his talent and his works as well as to achieving a spiritual and moral impact for his creations.
