About this artwork
Formation …Dissipation… Everything dissolves
All borders are illusions
No definition required
Unable to define
This abstract acrylic painting captures the ever-changing process and reality of life. Light and darkness constantly interact with each other, increasing and decreasing each other. Boundaries and definitions are also explored in this work. They are also subjects of the law of impermanence, changing with the circumstances and being extremely… flexible.
The artwork is an exploration of the theme of impermanence, intended to provoke reflections on definitions, boundaries and the periphery. It brings a sense of depth and movement to any space, enhancing the environment with its captivating energy and color.
*As shown in the photos above, this work can be hung from each of its 4 sides.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Yun Shan Hsu, she believe that creation is a process of continuous experimentation and the search for truth. Her technique embodies a synthesis of abstract minimalist aesthetics and conceptual explorations, most specifically in her series of Brushstroke Experiments and IMpermanence. Hsu's work emanates a contemplative resonance, inviting viewers into a dialogue about life, death, and an unceasing search for truth and reality.
