I don't know how this happened.
Everything stopped, came to an abrupt end
I don't know how long I lay here before I came to my senses.
All that has accumulated so far is broken and disintegrated
Fragments, accumulation....sedimentation.....brewing...
At that moment, life restarted
It's like something flipped
I feel
The mercy of life
---In this work, red represents the warmth and compassion of life. It drives everything, embraces and protects.… Some are taking shape, some may be dissipating or transforming....

Born and raised in Taiwan, Yun Shan Hsu, she believe that creation is a process of continuous experimentation and the search for truth. Her technique embodies a synthesis of abstract minimalist aesthetics and conceptual explorations, most specifically in her series of Brushstroke Experiments and IMpermanence. Hsu's work emanates a contemplative resonance, inviting viewers into a dialogue about life, death, and an unceasing search for truth and reality.
