About this artwork
For a long time, the issue of concealment and appearances has haunted me. I also project my fears onto it: the fear of confinement, of descending into an unknown place. But also my curiosity about what is hidden, what is unspoken, what lies between the lines. The theater curtain is a good symbol here: it both conceals and reveals.
This sculpture blends the softness of red textile with the minimalism of raw wood, inviting introspection. I wanted… to create a tension between rigor and warmth, like a veil rising to reveal an intimate space. Hung in your home, it will bring a vibrant and soothing energy, a subtle dialogue between structure and sensuality.
