About this artwork
In this engraving, I sought to capture the subtle balance between abstraction and figuration, evoking the fluidity and delicacy of an organic form. Each fine line and scattered dot conveys an emotion of lightness and suspended movement. This work invites gentle meditation, bringing a soothing feeling and vibrant energy to your space.
Fish is an etching on copper. This engraving technique produces very fine lines, sometimes jagged due to the pressure… applied to the point during the drawing process. I decided to represent the fish in a fragmented way, by removing its head. This allows the viewer to imagine another creature, real or imaginary.
This engraving is one of my first where I depicted an animal.
