About this artwork
L'Aigle Noir, a recent creation from the beginning of January 2021. This original canvas measures 76 x 101.5 cm, (30 "x40") and it can be viewed in any direction ... Vertical, horizontal, whatever, it is still very pleasant to watch. Bright and sober colors at the same time, a harmonious composition and a cloud of bubbles of colors which come to give life and movement to this work. Acrylic paint was used, and the artist incorporated a pouring medium… into it to make the texture of the painting more fluid. A very particular technique was then required to go and provoke this movement and these colored bubbles which give all its charm to this painting.
Yves Thomas has been specializing in this very special technique for several years.
« The challenge for me is to always go further. Dare, try, search, discover new avenues, maintain the passion. »
