About this artwork
This abstract work reflects the magic of artistic creation. Through my experiments, I wanted to create a universe, in search of infinity, the immensity of the sky or the sea melted into a harmony of blues. Its creation and rendering was uncertain, like the reaction between the sea and the sand, the wind and the clouds. My mixtures continued their mutual discovery to form this atmosphere.
The vibrant orange line embodies a distant horizon, inviting… reflection and expansion of thoughts. It is an invitation to dive into a universe of tranquility and depth, where each look invites a new discovery. Because painting space is not just about representing stars or nebulae. It is about questioning our place in the whole. It is about paying homage to the science that measures and explains genesis and matter, to the man who explores or exploits, to the philosophy that questions, to the passing of time, to the spatial environment.
Painting space is inviting the viewer to become an explorer in turn, not to conquer, but to contemplate and question.
Coming from a scientific background and with experience in the space industry, alongside an affinity for painting, Yves' artistic work is part of this quest, that of making the elusive visible.
