About this artwork
These gestural works show a layering technique which I developed involving water and solvent based paint. Two liquids that are not very compatible at all! The result of applying paints and erasing certain parts to reveal what's underneath is at the core of this practice. The hard edges which become apparent in these compositions are so sharp, that they give the impression of being screen printed.
