This work is inspired by the quiet movement of water and the profound stillness that exists beneath constant change. Through cascading layers of blue, white, and subtle earth tones, the painting explores the relationship between motion and calm, presence and absence.
The vertical forms evoke rainfall, melting ice, distant waterfalls, and the passage of time itself. Each layer was built intuitively, allowing the paint to flow… and settle naturally, creating a visual rhythm that mirrors the way emotions, memories, and experiences move through our lives.
Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the work invites viewers into a contemplative space where boundaries dissolve and silence becomes tangible. The flowing marks suggest transformation, reminding us that change is not always dramatic; often it arrives quietly, reshaping us in ways we only recognize later.
