About this artwork
Drishti is a Sanskrit word which means “where the eye takes you”. I wanted to invite the eye to move and open up to the different spaces which fit together and intertwine. It glides over the boats, the human figures in black and white, objects with intense and luminous colors which, although still, suggest movement. The obliques guide us towards the shades of blue of the sky and the water, its fluidity, in a circulatory space where. the movement…
comes to life. The work thus reveals its different points of view and opens up to nature.
