Roots, bonds, and the light of life
The painting "Mediterranean Garden of the Siblings" possesses an extraordinary, metaphorical depth. In the foreground, an old garden wall forms a foundation of security. Framed within it is an artful entrance gate made of old iron with a beautiful patina – a symbol of the transition into a protected, almost sacred space of intimacy.
Passing through the gate, one is greeted by an inviting garden space with carefully… placed plants, behind which the true heart of the work unfolds: nine monumental, proud cypress trees rise majestically. Each is rendered in subtle, distinct shades, lending it individual character. Yet they form an inseparable whole. The intense warmth of the southern sun is reflected at the edges of the trees, bathing the entire ensemble in a warm, inviting light. A profoundly sensual work.

Zoran Jovicic-Spaar is a painter with a gallery-based career who discovered his artistic passion after completing his studies.
