A curation by Rose Boutboul, Independent Curator at - Geometry in art is not just a matter of calculation; it is above all a search for rhythm and balance. In this curation, I wanted to explore how line and form can structure our emotions. We move away from mathematical rigidity to enter a universe where the square, the triangle, and the circle become the notes of a visual score. It is a celebration of structure which, far from being cold, reveals itself here with a vibrant generosity.
The visual journey takes us from flat, joyful, almost playful colors to more complex compositions where architecture seems to intrude upon the canvas. We encounter dizzying plays of perspective, abstract gears, and mosaics of color that dance with the light. What unites these works is this quest for perfect harmony: how a curve can soften a straight line, how a primary color can breathe life into a dark volume. We sense the influence of the Bauhaus, Cubism, and Suprematism, but always with a touch of modernity and freedom.
