About this artwork
In this work I wanted to capture the energy, the vastness and freedom that I experience again and again on hikes. In this landscape of Lake Lauerz in central Switzerland, this is expressed particularly well through the strong colors and expressionistic abstraction. Every angle and every layer of color should create a feeling of depth and dynamism, as if the canvas itself were breathing. This painting should create an atmosphere of inspiration and… joy in every room in which it hangs.
Adrian Müller, a Swiss artist, works mainly with acrylic on canvas and also creates collages. For over 60 years he has been depicting the beauty of Swiss nature through expressionist abstraction. He reflects his passion for mountain and lake landscapes in light brushstrokes and a wide range of colors. His works radiate luminous beauty and evoke a feeling of admiration for the natural world.
