Open Field unfolds as a painterly field of tension between movement and stillness, between surface and trace.
The composition is carried by a wide-open, bright zone—a visual field that both creates space and is crisscrossed by lines, signs, and layers of color. This surface appears like an inner landscape: open, tentative, permeable.
Color is applied, discarded, and painted over. Subtle breaks, rhythmic transitions, and visual traces emerge. Lines… traverse the image like remnants of memory or fragile thoughts—some visible, others almost erased.
Despite the calm underlying mood, the work remains in motion: color spaces collide, overlap, and remain in relationship. There is no clear direction—but a palpable field of possibilities.
