About this artwork
As simplistic as this painting is, it sits upon layers and layers of insecurity. Painting after painting that wasn't enough. In a final effort to confine these canvases into one, I made "drifting figure". Some say they're floating, some say they're laying to rest. The reality is they are stuck in a moment that your life will provide context for and if you look closely, there's more to find.
