In Spring’s Awakening, I channel the exhilarating beauty of spring, a season of renewal that radiates hope and vibrancy. Part of the Soft Impressions series, this semi-abstract landscape bursts with rounded trees in a vivid palette of greens, yellows, pinks, purples, and oranges—colors that embody spring’s lush awakening. Rendered in acrylics and soft pastels on linen, the soft interplay of hues evokes both excitement and serenity, mirroring the… transformative energy of the season. The tranquil water below reflects this vibrant canopy, creating a harmonious balance that invites contemplation and echoes the series’ celebration of life’s cyclical transitions. I aim to capture the duality of spring—its serene promise and thrilling vitality—inviting viewers to pause and embrace the beauty of change. Through this work, I encourage the viewer to connect with nature’s rhythms and the joy found in new beginnings.
