"Denmark" is a three-dimensional 3D painting inspired by the contours of the northern shores and the island geography of Scandinavia. The work is created on a durable, hard base using textured paste, creating a distinctive relief of the coastlines and enhancing the effect of a topographic map.
Deep shades of blue and turquoise, applied with acrylic, convey the movement of water, the play of light, and the… atmosphere of a cool northern sea. Epoxy resin adds glossy depth to the surface, enhancing the color saturation and creating the effect of a vibrant, shimmering surface. The contours of the land are emphasized by a textured layer, giving the work a sculptural and tactile quality.
The painting combines the aesthetics of abstraction and cartographic precision, creating a sense of space, freedom and natural harmony.
